To all Rocket Fans:
Welcome!
I want to thank you for your continued support of Bay Village athletes & sports teams. Additional thanks and appreciation to the members of the Bay Rockets Association, the supporters of our events, to our Program advertisers, and to our Stadium Sign Advertisers; your support is greatly appreciated and without it the High School and Middle School Athletics would not exist. Please join me in thanking all of our supporters.
I would also ask that you join me in thanking the following groups for all of their efforts during the past year:
The Rockets Association officers and trustees for raising over $100,000 last year. The Rockets Association held several very successful events in 2010-2011; these events provided the required funds to support the Rockets Renovation, Athletic Department and many of the High School and Middle School teams.
A very special thanks also goes to:
- Jason Martin – our new high school principal and Matt Spellman our activities director for their ongoing and tireless support of the Rockets Association.
- Larry Bennet, BHS grad 1970, for his help with the program layout & production of this program.
- Mark Mutch for continuing to work his magic on this program!
- Sarah Edelman and the nice folks at Thomas & Thomas, for their continued support of picture days.
You can support the Bay Rockets Association by: becoming a member, an advertiser in our programs, a Stadium Sign Advertiser and by attending Rocket Association meetings and events through out the year. Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 pm in the High School Library.
Also, mark your calendars for some of our upcoming events:
- Night at the Races Event on 2/11/12
- Nautica Charity Poker Festival held on 1-26-12 -1-28-12:
Plus more events in 2012. Details of all events and activities can be found on our web site: www.bayrocketsassociation.com.
We’re looking forward to this fall’s sports season. It’s a pleasure and privilege to work with our fine coaches, administrators, and parents who make Bay Village such a positive environment for both athletics and academics.
Go Rockets!
